Framingham Massachusetts is a town of about 66,000 people located 20 miles West of Boston. The town has 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 1 high school. Framingham was officially incorporated in 1700. Post World War II. Framingham like many other suburban areas, experienced a large increase in population and housing. Much of the housing constructed during the time consisted of split leel and ranch style homes. Since the 80's a large segment of the Brazillian population has come from the single city of Governador Valadares. Along with Brazilian and Spanish oriented retail stores, there are several Asian and Indian stores and restaurants that add to the rich ethnic flavor of the area. Framingham is home headquarters for Bose and Staples INc. as does conveinece store chain Cumberland Farms. The town is also home to Framingham State University which houses several thousand students. There is a commuter rail station located in Framingham. If you are commuting by car into Boston you can take Rt 9 or Rt. 90 and you can expect the commute to take 20 to 25 of minutes.
